The Greenville Public Library is home to the Society's collection. Many of the publications that can be viewed for research at the Library are listed on our society's Resources page. We at the Society wish to help you in your search for your roots. Our available research volunteers are few and have limited free time, but please Email BCGS if you are coming to Greenville and would like us to help you do your research, and we will see what we can arrange. You can also Email BCGS if you cannot come to Greenville but would like one of our volunteers to look up something for you. If we can be of any assistance please contact us for details at the following numbers and addresses:

   The Bond County Genealogical Society specializes in questions about family history, burial sites, census records, birth records, or death records from Bond County. If you have questions about the history of the county and its communities, please contact the the Bond County Historical Society instead.

   All genealogy requests submitted via email to will be researched and answered in order received as time permits. There is no flat fee for requests as we attempt to reply with electronic documents, but if your request requires printing, postage, or original document access and retrieval you may be responsible for those charges.
